Random September Photos

So, I got really, really behind in my blogging and I ended up paying for it. I've been post dating all of my blog posts, so that they don't all have the same post date, however, I lost a bunch of photos and can't write about everything now, because I waited so long. In December, my phone broke (will break? ;) ) and I lost three months of photos... September, October, and November! I was heart broken. I seriously cried, but I've since learned that it's okay, because nothing can change it, and the reality is that I still have the memories, even if I can't fully share them with you.

It's now really important to me to share whatever photos I do have of my beautiful kids.

Micah is always so good about taking the kids out while I'm at work. This time they went to the Museum of Ancient Life, because the seriously LOVE that place! They ask to go there all the time. Anyway, here are some adorable pics of my kids.

After they played on our playground outside.

Sometime this past month, they helped repaint our bench. What wonderful helpers we have!

Lila likes to watch this dinosaur video game that Micah plays... I told you she likes dinosaurs. Anyway, Micah was giving her a chance to play. Cute, huh?

Fall Soccer 2016

Of course, Lila is in soccer again. She did great this season. I really do think that she is getting better and better every season. She still absolutely loves it, so we'll continue to do it. I can't wait for next fall, just because that means Brighton will be joining Lila in playing. She had an adorable little team and they did very well for themselves. This season Grandma McSweeney and Aunt Sarah even came to watch her play. Lila loved her fan club.

August games...

GO BEANIE!

September games...

Luckily, this season, they had an awesome playground RIGHT next to the fields for Brighton to play on and stay entertained. He likes watching Lila, but always wants to go out on the field and join her, so this is just better. Isn't the playground cute? It has a train theme, and eventually they're going to have a train that goes around on tracks for the kids to ride on. Cool, huh?!

What a handsome, little guy, I've got.

Random August Photos

Here is the dump post for August.

Brighton and I had a fun little trip to Farm Country where we learned about pigs. He was very good and completed the scavenger hunt!

The kids got these super cute blow-up guitars from their cousin Addie's birthday party. They're rocking' now!

Lila just felt very pretty in this dress, so she wanted me to take a picture of her.

At church, Lila was drawing for me. This is what she came up with. :) <3 p="">

Another fun month is gone.

Lila is a KINDERGARTNER!

Can you believe my little bean is going to Kindergarten! I'm so excited to have her at my school every day. I know she already did preschool, but for some reason, this seems like such a big step. (I'm sure I'll feel the same way for 1st grade.)

She was super excited the morning of her first day. She happily got dressed, took pictures, and rode with me to school.

I LOVE Lila's teacher, Mrs. Knight. She is the sweetest and I just know that Lila is going to love her and have such a great year with her. I did not cry, but I was VERY, VERY proud of my little bean!

Love you, Lila!!! xoxoxo

Back to School Feast

Since Lila is going into Kindergarten, I again did a back to school feast. This is such a fun tradition that I plan on continuing with all of my kids. I asked Micah to find a theme for us this year, then I asked Lila what she would like for dinner. He chose D&C 50:40-41 and Lila chose chicken alfredo with broccoli. Those two things were our focus for the evening.

I kept the decorations really similar to last year as I was really busy the week leading up to school with actually teaching. :) Next year, I hope that it's different. I guess we'll see. I was just happy that I pulled it off at all. Here are the pictures for this year.

 Sorry for the bad lighting.

We did "kissing hands" again. The kids loved them. :)

Love you, girl! Can't believe you're getting so big!
