A Day Out With Daddy

Lila has been loving preschool and I'm so glad she has the opportunity to go, but that does leave my handsome little man without his best buddy.

Sometimes when Lila is at preschool, Micah will take Brighton to the park or Thanksgiving Point or places like that.

They recently went and Micah got some really cute pictures of my favorite little boy, so I want to share them and they will be the majority of this post. :)

What a handsome little fella I have!

Pinterest Party 2015

This past Saturday the girls in my family and some friends got together for our Pinterest party. It was, of course, so fun and the food was delicious!

There were a lot of cool things to make this year and I planned on making a bunch of them! Of course, everything takes me longer than I think it will, so I only ended up making three of the things that day, but I will post the others when I eventually do them.

This is my Halloween star. I LOVE how it turned out.

I also made a Santa key. I stained the box and then put it all together. I think it's beautiful. The only thing I still want to do is change the twine to red or green ribbon, but other than that it's complete.

Finally, I made candy jars that can be changed around throughout the seasons of the year. I have been wanting to make these for a long time so I'm glad we finally did it. This picture is actually of my sister's, but mine are very similar.

The kids even got to get in on the crafting. They made hot cocoa mugs and marshmallow snowmen to go with it. Aren't they adorable!!! I seriously love these little things that they made. They will be used consistently throughout the season.

For my treat I made caramel cheesecake cupcakes. They were DELICIOUS and easy. I'll definitely be making them again.

It was great hanging out with family and friends. It's the start to my favorite time of the year!

Soccer Update- Lila Scored a Goal!

Lila has been loving soccer. I'm so glad that she is enjoying herself and is not just playing because I want her to. She has gotten progressively better as her season has gone on. She even scored a goal at one of her games!

Micah took these pictures right after her goal.

I'm sad I wasn't there, but I'm really proud of my little girl. :)

Here are a few other fun pictures from soccer. I love watching these games!
