It's been a pretty busy weekend for Micah and I. I'm now 18 weeks along in the pregnancy... not too far I know, but I'm excited to know that I'm almost halfway. I also get to have an ultrasound on February 8th when I'll be just over 20 weeks. Yay! I can't wait. I honestly don't even care about the sex of our baby, I'm just excited to find out. Also, I was looking at my picture at 16 weeks and I really did just look huge in that pic. My sister actually asked me if I was pushing it out and honestly I wasn't, but something about that pic made me look really pregnant. :)
On Friday Micah and I were able to pick up our finished "color me mine" products and I was so excited. The turned out great and I promise to post pictures next time. I just have to recommend going there for anyone who wants to try something different.
Saturday was my nephew's birthday party and my sister's birthday and party so it was a pretty eventful day. We headed down to my parent's to celebrate with my nephew and his little friends. It was really cute to watch them play the games. He only just turned 4 so the kids are still pretty new to birthday games and a lot of guidance is needed, but it really was all so much fun. My sister led it really well and it turned out to be a success. Next, we went up to Orem to play mini-golf at Trafalga. Not only was it indoor but it was also blacklight which was a lot of fun. The hard thing for me though was that I had a harder to bending over to pick up the golf ball then I thought. Haha. It was soooooooo much fun and Micah actually got the best score out of our whole group of about 15 people. We then had cake that my sister's friend Angelica made and it was so amazing. It really was the most moist cake I have ever eaten and the frosting and everything just complimented it perfectly. Micah wants me to learn to make it so we can have it at home. :) It was a really fun day and by the time we finally got home I was honestly ready for bed. Sad I know, but those that know me know it's not just because I'm pregnant... I am just a tired person.
Finally, today I made a great meal for our Sunday dinner. We had spaghetti and meatballs, homemade of course, and then homemade breadsticks. I had so much dough left over from the breadsticks though that I decided to make french bread with it. So if anyone who lives nearby wants some bread... come on over. It was a new recipe and it turned out great. I love making bread from scratch! Anyway, that's our weekend for ya... it really wasn't that busy but it was a lot of fun. I hope you all have a great week!

Color Me Mine
So Micah and I actually did go and do something today that we've never done before. We went to Color Me Mine and it was SOOOOOOO much fun. Micah even enjoyed himself. He is such a good husband, indulging me, but we both ended up having a great time. Anyway, we were going to do a piece together but then decided to do two separate pieces and let me tell you that I am so happy that we did because I seriously love what Micah did. It suits him perfectly! I can't wait until we get to pick up our finished pieces. Oh and one more thing... you can't really tell now, but my mug is going to be so BRIGHT! I figured why not go all out... so it will be interesting to see how it turns out. :)

Keep on keeping on
I'm 17 weeks now and completely unsure of the gender of our baby. Originally Micah and I really wanted a boy and so we both thought that it was definitely a girl, but the more we thought about it we decided that we really want a girl and so now we think it's a boy. This shows that we obviously have no idea about any of this. My next appointment is on Tuesday and I really hope that they set up my 20 week appointment really close to me actually being 20 weeks so that the anticipation can hopefully be over. Everything is going well though so not much to complain about. Also, I realize that I look pretty bad in the pictures but I have to keep record, right?
Sorry to everyone that this is all you ever hear about now on my blog. When I actually do something that's worth blogging about it will definitely be posted. I realized though that the things that I might blog about are now things that I can't do because I'm pregnant. I couldn't even go sledding this year *tear* so pretty much my days are mellow and I just hang out with Micah and a few other friends. I guess I'll just have to make something happen...

16 weeks
I feel like I look HUGE compared to what my friends looked like this far along or currently look like, but I just have to make myself feel better by thinking every pregnancy is different. Ha I also need Micah to take my pictures long ways instead so it fits my pic box better. That reminds me... does anyone know how to make a slideshow of the pics? I know there is a gadget you can add, but I don't know how to work the gadget. Finally, the pregnancy is going really well and I haven't really been sick lately. It's great to not be throwing up anymore. Hopefully everything continues to go smoothly. Thanks for all the support from all of you! Have a great week! Also, I'm posting a poll about what everyone thinks the sex is. I personally think a girl, and am kind of leaning toward wanting a girl, but of course I will love our baby no matter what it is.

5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, 3 turnovers... i can't remember if i had any assists...
i played church ball tonight. it's a regular ol ward, and so they just want extra bodies to give everybody's lungs a break, so i played. we won by double digits. we played with and played against a zone... and i haven't done that much. i prefer a 3 on 3 half court sort of game... no zone in that. (hence the turnovers... 2 on bad passes at the top of the key, and 1 just fumbled out of bounds on a drive to the basket.)
oh yea, and at the end of the game with 4 seconds left i took a half court shot, as we already had a big lead, and sank it. got some fun cheers... but it was really irrelevant and would have been way cooler had it actually had some sort of meaning in the game. anyway, i got blisters, as i threw out my old basketball shoes when we moved, so the shoes i used aren't accustomed to the start and stop of a basketball game.
i eagerly await some red dawnage, as well as my new holster, sling, and bandolier, and my shotgun to get back from the factory.

I wasn't ready to go back
I LOVE teaching, but I have to admit for the past two days I have been feeling like I was not ready to go back to work after a wonderful break. Some days I just want to stay in bed with my husband and be lazy with him. Christmas break was bliss and it just went by way too fast. At least it's almost the weekend. :)

15 weeks today!
I swear even a week ago I wasn't showing this much. It could also be though that this is the first time I'm allowing myself to just "show"... usually I try and hold my stomach in. haha. I have no idea if I look way bigger than I'm supposed to. I really hope not, but oh well. I'm glad that it's actually starting to look like I'm pregnant not just gaining weight. This is my first belly pic by the way. I'm going to be better from now on... I promise.
